Kuusamo, Finland

This photography tour takes you to blue winter moments and beautiful snow-capped taiga forests of Kuusamo, Finland. Only imagination is the limit for photography in these winter landscapes, and there might be good chances for witnessing Aurora Borealis, a magical and colorful display in the night sky – a show so many can only dream of.

During the tour, we also have two days photography of Golden Eagles from well-heated comfortable professional hides. Many other species visit the feeders in front of the hides as well. For example, Siberian Tit, Siberian Jay and Red Squirrel keep us busy while waiting for Eagles.

Group size: 4 – 6 photographers

Landcost price: 2850 € / person

Price includes: land transportation from Kuusamo airport, all meals, accommodation, Finnature guiding and use of professional photography hides

Accommodation: Oivanki Lomakartano’s log villa. Single rooms with shared facilities.

"We did a spring photography tour to Finland with Finnature last week. Week was great although very cold - -28 degrees on some mornings was not normal for this time of the year! So Black Grouse were not active. But instead, the group visited Finnature’s Forest feeder hides for Goshawk and Eagle Owl. The group told that Finnature’s Forest feeder is the best place in the world to photograph Goshawks!"
