Goshawks are photographed during daylight hours. As light levels decrease towards mid-winter, additional lighting can be used to support photography in darker conditions. The hides are facing west, which in spring allows the setting sun to create beautiful backlighting at the site, adding atmosphere and depth to the images.

Goshawks are fed on a platform at eyelevel to the photographers, making the hide session a comfortable one! The platform is decorated according to the season, creating clean and natural compositions. During the nighttime Eagle Owls visit on the same platform. Nearby feeders for smaller forest birds also provide additional photography opportunities.

One of the hides features large windows, making it easier to follow the movements of Goshawks and anticipate action at the feeding platform.

Operating times: 15th August – 15th June – Goshawk season from November to April

Entry to the hides independently 1 hour before sunrise and departure at the latest at sunset. Please notice that the length of the daylight varies during the photography season.

700 € / 4 days (175 € / person / day), package can be used alone or with a friend

Price includes instructions for independent entry, bait and the use of the hide. Price does not include transportation. Hide has to be paid when you book it but you have to book the dates from our office.
