13 – 16 May 2025 – Oulu, FINLAND

The delightful and colorful Ruff feeding in a small water pool in front of the hides by the most important wetland in Finland – Liminka Bay in Oulu area. Get a diversity of Ruff images by joining this short break for keen wildlife photographers!

The feeding site for the Ruff and other waders. Here, a shallow water pool opens in front of the hides making this site great for reflection photos – if the wind is calm. In the bright evenings one will get beautiful backlit images of feeding waders from these hides. The Ruff can do some lekking on this site making it possible to have nice lekking postures of the males in the water. Fighting action is also an opportunity here – are you fast enough to capture it?

Landcost price: 2295 € / person, single supplement 215 €

Price includes: land transportation from Oulu airport, all meals, accommodation, Finnature guiding and use of professional photography hides

"We did a spring photography tour to Finland with Finnature last week. Week was great although very cold - -28 degrees on some mornings was not normal for this time of the year! So Black Grouse were not active. But instead, the group visited Finnature’s Forest feeder hides for Goshawk and Eagle Owl. The group told that Finnature’s Forest feeder is the best place in the world to photograph Goshawks!"
