Mid Summer Mammals
26 June – 3 July 2026
Finland: Oulu – Kuhmo – Suomussalmi – Oulu
Join this midsummer wildlife photography tour in Finland, designed for photographers eager to capture the country’s most iconic predators in endless northern light. In late June, Brown Bear cubs emerge with their mothers, Wolves roam the taiga, and the elusive Wolverine may appear across the glowing swamps – unforgettable highlights for any nature photographer.
Over six consecutive nights we photograph from professional hides, carefully selected across Finland for their reliability and photographic potential. Vast swamps dotted with white cotton grass, fresh summer forests, and mirror-like ponds provide stunning backdrops for predator photography. This is the best time of year to build a diverse portfolio of Finland’s great carnivores in the wild.
