FINLAND: Oulu region

Divers are very attractive species to photograph. During this short break we will photograph both species – Red-throated and Black-throated Divers. We will visit several breeding lakes of these beautiful birds and we will have a good chance to get good photos of both species.

We have timed this break for the time of the year when divers have large young ones, so we will get some nice action photos too. To make most out of the best light of the day we will do both early morning and late evening sessions with divers. During the daytime there will be time for some rest or for some passerine photography at Villa.

Group size: 4 – 6 photographers

Landcost price: 1885 € / person.

Price includes: land transportation from Oulu airport to Oulu airport, all meals, accommodation, Finnature guiding

"We did a spring photography tour to Finland with Finnature last week. Week was great although very cold - -28 degrees on some mornings was not normal for this time of the year! So Black Grouse were not active. But instead, the group visited Finnature’s Forest feeder hides for Goshawk and Eagle Owl. The group told that Finnature’s Forest feeder is the best place in the world to photograph Goshawks!"
