This photographer’s dream country offers an incredible abundance of colourful and extraordinary birds, from dazzling Hummingbirds to striking Toucans, magnificent King Vultures, and the spectacular Resplendent Quetzal.

Birds are the main focus of this tour, but we also include unforgettable macro sessions for iconic frogs and snakes. Every day brings new photographic highlights as we travel from lowlands to highlands and to the Mid Pacific coast. With two nights at each destination, there is time to relax between travel days and enjoy a variety of boat cruises, deck photography, and evening sessions.

Costa Rica is a friendly and easy-going country where everything works smoothly and the food is excellent – the perfect setting for a rewarding and relaxing photography holiday.

One might ask why November? Local photographers say it is the best time: less rain than in the wet season, but softer light than later in the dry season – perfect conditions for photography!

Price includes: Accommodation, meals from second day breakfast to last day breakfast. Please notice no dinner in first evening.
