As the long winter transitions into spring, nature awakens—migrant birds return, resident species claim their breeding territories, and large carnivores become highly active.

At this time of year, the iconic Black Grouse lekking takes place on pristine snow, offering incredible opportunities for bird photographers. Meanwhile, at our exclusive hides, Golden Eagles, Eagle Owls, and Goshawks make regular appearances, allowing for stunning portrait and action shots.

The tour also provides fantastic chances to photograph Finland’s large carnivores:
Brown Bears emerging from hibernation
Wolves and Wolverines, highly active in spring
Northern Owls, such as Great Grey Owl and Hawk Owl, may also be seen
